LAGOS,Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) –The management of Babcock University Teaching Hospital (BUTH)<\/a> has raised the alarm regarding an abandoned patient within its medical facilities.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The patient Mr. Maurice Okpenyong, has been left in the hospital by his children, who have disappeared and refused to come for him after BUTH signed his discharge in December 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to a statement released and signed by the Communications Department of Babcock University BU, the whereabouts of the patient\u2019s son and daughter are unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mr. Okpenyong hails from Obot Akara Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and was admitted with a diagnosis of Repeat Suprapubic Cystostomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
