A new range of commemorative coins featuring a first ever crowned portrait of King Charles III have been created to celebrate the monarch’s forthcoming coronation. The collection, which includes a 50p and £5 coin, will be released later this month ahead of the historic May 6 celebration. Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera has pardoned Uladi Mussa, a former minister for Homeland Security, jailed in 2020 for corruption, alongside dozens of others. The pardon is part of the annual amnesty programme for prisoners during Easter celebrations.
