The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate was returned as President after polling 8,805,655 votes against PDP’s 6,984,520, LP’s 6,098,588 and NNPP’s 1,496,687. The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been declared the winner of the presidential election in Abia, Imo, Rivers, Ebonyi, Delta and Anambra States. Four officers have been arrested by the Rivers State Police command for alleged involvement in electoral malpractices during last Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections in Rivers State.
