Armed robbers shot four people at a PoS terminal in Zaki Local Government Area (LGA) of Bauchi State, on Monday. Barely 48 hours after a container fell on a bus at Ojuelegba, killing nine persons, another tragic incident was averted on Monday night after an articulated truck conveying a 40ft container fell on the Kara bridge end of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele has said the apex bank will continue to accept the old naira notes even after the deadline for swapping with the newly-designed currency notes. The bank recently extended the deadline for the swap of the newly-designed N1,000, N500, and N200 notes following an outcry from Nigerians.
