LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Popular Nigerian filmmaker, Patrick Doyle has reacted to singer Tems winning a gospel music award at the 2024 BET ceremony.
Recall that her song “Me & U,” clinched the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the BET awards, which was hosted at the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California.
Big names like Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Maverick City Music, and others were defeated by Tems to win the prize.

Doyle took to social media to say, Christians who feel betrayed by Tems’ win should quit looking for approval from erratic organisations like the entertainment industry mafia.
Doyle claimed that the entertainment industry is being controlled by satan.
In his words; “I feel the pain of mainstream gospel artists who feel slighted that an evidently secular musician, Tems was awarded for best gospel song.
“That said, I believe it is about time that committed Christians should stop seeking validation from fickle institutions like the entertainment industry mafia which by the way is in the grip of Satan.”
