LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-A political organisation, Movement for Truth, has publicly dissociated itself from the decision of Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, to support Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the upcoming Ondo State Governorship election.
In a press release signed by its members including Mr Benson Enikuomehin, Mr Kayode Mogbojuri, and Mr Steve Omogbemi, the group stated that while they respect Chief Olusola Oke’s right to support any candidate of his choice, they cannot follow him in endorsing Governor Ayedatiwa.

The group claims that no primary election was held on April 20, 2024, by the APC in Ondo State and reiterated their commitment to fairness, equity, and justice in their pursuit of the best candidate for the governorship position.
“We made it known to the whole world that it is only righteousness that can exalt a nation, _a fortiori_any organization or political party. We as a group cannot be speaking from the two sides of our mouths,” they said.
They announced that they will chart a new course and address a press conference to clarify their position on the matter.
