ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Organized Labour on Tuesday, walked out of the Tripartite Committee meeting on minimum wage after the Federal Government increased its offer to N60,000.

A source privy to the ongoing meeting in Abuja told Vanguard that the Federal Government of Nigeria raised its offer by N3,000, bringing the total proposed minimum wage to N60,000.
The source said, “We walked out again. Just now. They (Federal Government) added 3k. We reduced 3k.”
At the time of the walkout, the Federal Government’s offer stood at N60,000, while the Organized Labour had reduced its demand to N494,000.
