ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Two suspects, Christopher Ogunmodede and Musa Abdullahi, have been arraigned for allegedly stealing 9 litres of diesel worth N12,600.
The two defendants, whose addresses were not provided, were charged with conspiracy and theft.
The suspects who on Friday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrate’s Court, Ibadan, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The prosecutor, Inspector Gbemisola Adedeji, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on April 6 about 9:00 pm at First Technical University, Ibadan.
Adedeji also alleged that the defendants conspired to steal the diesel belonging to the university.
According to her, the offences contravened sections 516 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
Daily Post reports that the Magistrate, Mrs Adebola Adeola, granted each defendant bail in the sum of N50,000 and one surety each.
Adeola further adjourned the case until June 7 for hearing.
