The family said more arrangements and pending matters needed to be resolved before a new date could be announced.
Osoba died on August 4, 2026, with her death later becoming the subject of controversy after conflicting accounts emerged about what happened before her passing.
Controversy surrounding her death gained traction after a video Osoba had reportedly sent to a close associate before her death surfaced.
In the footage, the actress was seen crying as she spoke about alleged mistreatment in her relationship and expressed distress over issues involving her partner and his family.
Reports about the video said she also complained about what she described as troubling experiences in the relationship.
The footage later became a major part of the discussions surrounding her death, with friends and associates raising questions about her welfare before she died.
As a result, attention also turned to Osoba’s fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, following claims surrounding her final hours.

The actress family and associates subsequently called for an investigation, while the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) announced a probe into the circumstances surrounding her death.
Onadeko was later reportedly taken into police custody alongside a hairdresser amid calls for an investigation.
However, the case has since moved beyond the initial reports, with the police reportedly arraigning him on charges including stealing, conversion and conduct likely to breach the peace.
Further attention came from actor Kunle Afod, who confirmed that an autopsy had been conducted before Osoba’s burial.
Osoba’s death brought renewed attention to the actress career in Yoruba Nollywood, where she spent nearly two decades and featured in several productions.
Her final journey has now ended in Iperu Remo, but questions surrounding the circumstances of her death remain part of an ongoing investigation.
