LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Former BBNaija Season 11 housemate Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, popularly known as Nomy, has addressed her controversial exit from the reality show, apologizing to fans who felt disappointed by her disqualification.
Nomy was removed from the BBNaija house after repeatedly failing to follow Big Brother’s instructions, coming after she had already received a strike.
Since her exit, the reality star has faced mixed reactions online, with some viewers criticizing her actions while others expressed sympathy over her early departure.
However, Nomy has now responded to the support she received outside the house, admitting that the reaction from fans left her emotional.
“If I had known I had this much support and love waiting for me at home, I would have done everything I could to take me to the finale,” Nomy said.
The reality star expressed gratitude to viewers who continued to stand by her despite the circumstances that led to her disqualification.
“Just hearing that I have an entire nation just makes me so happy,” she noted.

She also apologised to fans who felt disappointed by her actions, stressing that she never intended to let them down.
“I’m so thankful to each and every one of you,” Nomy added.
Looking back on her time in the house, Nomy suggested that knowing how much support she had outside might have pushed her to approach the competition differently.
She, however, appeared to accept the outcome, saying, “I guess it was just meant to work out this way.”
Nomy ended her message with another apology to her supporters.
“I’m sorry for letting you down,” she said.
Despite leaving the competition before the finale, the support from viewers appears to have given Nomy a positive takeaway from her short-lived BBNaija journey.
