LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian streamer Peller has revealed that his wife, Jarvis, once gave him $1,000 from her TikTok earnings when he was struggling financially, despite having no interest in dating him at the time.
Peller shared the revelation while speaking with Pastor Tobi, reflecting on the period when he and Jarvis were still building their careers as TikTok creators.
At the time, Jarvis was attracting more financial support from viewers during her live sessions, while Peller said he was barely receiving gifts.
He recalled that Jarvis could make about $3,000 from TikTok during that period.
Rather than keeping all the money for herself, Peller said she would regularly give him a portion of what she earned.

“This girl could make about $3,000 from TikTok at that time,” he said.
According to Peller, Jarvis would sometimes hand him $1,000 after noticing that his own live sessions were not bringing in much.
“She would take about $1,000 from what she made and give it to me because she noticed that people weren’t gifting me,” he added.
The streamer explained that the gesture stood out because he was struggling financially at the time.

More importantly, he stressed that Jarvis was not doing it because they were romantically involved.
Peller recalled that she had already been making money from TikTok while he was still finding his footing, with female creators often receiving more gifts from viewers.
He added that her kindness made an impression on him even though she did not want to date him then.
“She supported me even though, at that time, she didn’t want to date me,” Peller stated.
For Peller, those early gestures became part of the foundation of his relationship with Jarvis, long before their romance and marriage became public.
