LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Gerard has been evicted from the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house after six weeks on the reality show.
His exit was confirmed during Sunday’s live eviction show hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, bringing his journey towards the ₦160 million grand prize to an end.
Gerard was among 15 housemates placed up for possible eviction in week six. With viewers deciding who stayed through their votes, the housemate failed to secure enough support to remain in the competition.
The eviction makes him the eighth housemate to have left this season.
Martins, Mercedes, Kamsy, Cassi, Sultex and Goddessa have also exited the show, while Neche left voluntarily.

Before his departure, Gerard had made his presence felt during the Head of House competitions.
He came close to winning the title on several occasions with his latest attempt ending in the final round of the week six challenge, where Abi defeated him.
His departure now leaves the remaining housemates with fewer competitors as they race to survive each eviction round and secure a place in the final.
