LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Big Brother Naija season 11 housemate Barry has emerged as the Most Influential Player for week six of the reality show.

The recognition adds another milestone to Barry’s growing run in the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house, making him the fifth housemate to claim the title this season.

The award has already gone to other contestants in previous weeks. Abi took the honour in week four, while Sheba was named Most Influential Player in week five.

However, Barry’s win came with a different reward structure.

As part of the perks, he took part in a spin game and won an air fryer. Unlike previous seasons, though, the title did not come with immunity from possible eviction this week.

The change is linked to the ongoing ‘The Switch’ theme, which has introduced changes to some of the show’s familiar rules, rewards and house dynamics.

The Most Influential Player title was first introduced during the ‘10/10’ season to recognize housemates making a notable impact on the competition.

The weekly honour considers several aspects of a housemate’s performance, including their influence during tasks, strategic moves and role in shaping conversations within the house.

Internal show metrics are also used to assess how much a housemate has influenced group decisions, generated conversations and distinguished themselves during challenges.

For Barry, the week six recognition adds to his profile in a season where housemates are facing changing rules and unexpected twists as they battle for the N160 million grand prize.
