LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Big Brother Naija Season 11 organizers have explained to fans and viewers why housemate Neche suddenly chose to leave the ongoing “Show Ya Sef” reality show.
In a statement issued by MultiChoice Nigeria and the BBNaija production team, the organizers announced that the 25-year-old lawyer decided to leave because of pressing personal matters.
Neche had announced her voluntary exit to her fellow housemates shortly after Sunday’s live eviction show but did not initially reveal why she was leaving.
Providing clarity on her decision, the organizers disclosed that her personal situation required her immediate attention.

“Neche took this decision as a result of pressing personal matters, which she said required immediate attention,” the statement read.
The production team stated that it respected her decision and thanked her for the energy and commitment she brought to the show during her time in the house.
They also described Neche’s time in the competition as being marked by “notable wins and achievements”, acknowledging her contribution to the ongoing season.
Her unexpected departure had earlier sparked speculation among viewers, with some fans wondering whether it was part of a twist or prank by the show organizers.
The explanation has now put those speculations to rest.
