LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- BBNaija Season 11 housemate Neche has stunned viewers by voluntarily leaving the “Show Ya Sef” house shortly after Sunday’s live eviction show.
The 25-year-old lawyer, who had just emerged as Head of House after winning the weekly challenge, announced her decision to leave, ending her run in the competition without revealing why she made the decision.
Neche first broke the news privately to Bluethopia in the blue room before gathering the other housemates in the lounge to announce her withdrawal.
The development appeared to hit Bluethopia particularly hard, with her close friend breaking down in tears after hearing the news.
Neche later removed her microphone and name tag before heading to the diary room to formally complete her exit from the competition.
Her unexpected departure quickly sparked reactions among viewers, with some fans questioning whether the announcement was genuine or could be part of a prank or an unexpected twist by the show organizers.
Meanwhile, other viewers pointed to earlier moments involving Neche, including a secret she had mentioned and possible tensions with housemates such as Goddessa and Sheba.

Neche’s exit comes at a busy point in the “Show Ya Sef,” season which premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a record ₦160 million grand prize.
Martins and Mercedes were the first housemates evicted from the season, while Kamsy became the third contestant to leave through eviction during Sunday’s live show.
With Neche’s voluntary withdrawal following Kamsy’s eviction, four housemates are now out of the race for the ₦160 million prize, leaving the remaining contestants to battle for a place in the next stage of the competition.
