LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has shaved his head in solidarity with his wife, Amadou Elizabeth, known as Jarvis, following the backlash she received after she’d shaved her head.
Jarvis had been a target of serious online harassment and bullying after she went bald l ahead of their wedding ceremonies.
In a show of support to his newly wedded wife, Peller visited a barbershop and opted for a close-cropped haircut similar to Jarvis.
In a video shared online, the TikTok star explained that he wanted to copy his wife’s hairstyle as a surprise.
“I want to barb skolo to surprise my wife. Because she barb skolo, everybody is abusing her and talking a lot about her,” Peller said.

He then picked up the clipper and shaved his head.
The content creator later revealed his new look to Jarvis, who appeared pleased by the gesture.
The couple were subsequently seen laughing and proudly showing off their matching shaved hairstyles, with Peller making it clear that he was prepared to face the criticism alongside his wife.
Jarvis had earlier cut her hair ahead of her traditional and white wedding ceremonies with Peller.
Her decision attracted mixed reactions online, with some social media users mocking her short hairstyle and even calling her “Emeka”.
The AI content creator previously explained that she cut her hair after her stylist advised her to do so, saying the shorter style would help her frontal wigs sit better because of her hair texture.
Despite her explanation, the criticism continued across social media.
Peller’s gesture has now attracted praise from fans who viewed his decision as a show of loyalty and support for his wife.
