LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian comedian and skit maker Oluwaseun Agun, popularly known as Ogbeni Adan, has made a painful allegation against his mother, accusing her of working against his progress in life and his entertainment career.
The content creator made the allegations in a now-deleted Instagram post, where he claimed that his mother, Bolanle Moniade Agun, had disrupted his relationship, blocked potential helpers, and left him struggling emotionally.
He stated that she interfered with his relationship and prevented him from connecting with people he described as his “destiny helpers.”
Adan also accused his mother of deliberately working against his career and craft, while describing her as bitter despite being a church-going Christian.
In the lengthy post, the comedian expressed deep pain over the alleged treatment, saying he wished he had been born to a different mother.
“Meet Bolanle Moniade Agun Nee Adetoye, the worst mother in the history of mothers, the most wicked and biter human I’ve ever met,” he wrote.
Adan alleged that his mother, who did not hide her deeds from him, had gone as far as disrupting his relationship and blocking people who could have helped his career.

“Scattering her son’s relationship, blocking his destiny helpers, going the extra mile to work against my career and craft and still have the effrontery to boast about it to his face,” he explained.
The comedian also questioned how someone who identifies as a Christian could allegedly treat her child with what he described as bitterness.
“Someone that goes to church and claim to be a Christian dey move around with that kind bitterness,” he wrote, before urging people to develop a personal relationship with their faith.
Amid the emotional outburst, Adan appealed to his followers and fans to pray for him, saying he needed support during what appeared to be a difficult period.
“If I should say all what my eyes have seen, if I say all what I’ve been enduring for years, if I say the huge effect the betrayal of a close one has had on me and my progress in life and career. You all will be surprised why I haven’t considered suicide yet,” he wrote.
He continued by reminding his followers of the joy his comedy may have brought them and asked them to return that support through prayers.
“If I’ve ever gave you joy with my craft, please keep praying for me,” Adan added.
The comedian did not provide further details about the specific incidents he accused his mother of being involved in, while the allegations remain his account of the family dispute.
Adan maintained that his appeal is centred on prayer and support as he navigates what he described as years of emotional pain, betrayal and setbacks in his personal life and career.
