The second match saw Oyinlomo Quadre produce a masterful comeback victory as she rallied back from a set and daunting 0-4 deficit in the final set to defeat Ekua Youri 4-6, 6-4, 7-5.
Her remarkable turnaround gave the West African side a decisive 2-0 advantage in the tie before the doubles match.
