LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has delighted fans after a video captured him enjoying quality time with his son and daughter during a rare family outing in Abuja.
The clip offered a reassuring glimpse of the screen legend weeks after concerns about his state and mental well-being dominated social media.
The viral video captured the veteran actor in high spirits during a family outing at a restaurant in Abuja.
Dressed in his usual all-black outfit with sunglasses and jewellery, Anuku appeared relaxed and cheerful while interacting with those around him.
At one point in the video, the actor proudly introduced his son, speaking about his achievements with obvious excitement.

“He’s a basketball player in the United States of America,” Anuku said while presenting him to people at the gathering.
Another moment from the video showed his daughter seated nearby, quietly spending time with the family.
Earlier viral videos had sparked concerns about his health and welfare, with some social media users claiming he had been abandoned, was homeless or battling mental illness after footage surfaced showing him in vulnerable situations on the streets.
However, several of his colleagues, including Nollywood actor Segun Arinze, dismissed those claims at the time, insisting the videos painted a false picture of the veteran actor’s life.
The latest appearance has now offered fans a different perspective, with many expressing relief to see Hanks Anuku looking healthy, composed and surrounded by his loved ones.
