LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Lagos based club Ikorodu City have set their sights on their first ever President Federation Cup (FA Cup) title when they take on three-time winners El-Kanemi Warriors in the final on Saturday July 11, at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.
Ikorodu City who are making their first appearance in the final have enjoyed an impressive cup run so far.
The Bright Ozebagbe led team beat the likes of Enyimba who have lifted the competition an incredible four times in the round of 16.
They also saw off Barau FC in the quarter finals via penalties before deciding their semifinals match up against Nasarawa United with spot kicks.
El-Kanemi Warriors on the other hand will be seeking a fourth President Federation Cup title when they face Ikorodu City.
The Maiduguri-based club lifted the trophy in 1991 and 1992 before reclaiming it in 2024 against Abia Warriors in Lagos.

Despite facing an experienced side, the Oga Boys will be determined to cap their remarkable campaign with a historic first title.
Beyond domestic silverware, the stakes are particularly high in the men’s final, with the winners earning the right to represent Nigeria in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The women’s finals which will be played first in the same venue also feature debutants Heartland Queens against two-time champions Nasarawa Amazons.
