LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian singer Brymo has made fresh claims about his past relationships with married women, alleging that music icon 2Baba once confronted his former wife, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, asking if she had ever been intimate with him.
Brymo made the claim during a recent interview on the NotJustOk podcast, where he revisited his past and warned younger artistes against getting involved with people’s spouses.
According to the singer, the alleged confrontation happened in 2019 at an office in Lekki, Lagos, where he claimed 2Baba directly questioned Annie about their relationship.
“I remember that moment in 2019 at Naomi’s office in Lekki Phase 1 when 2face looked me straight in the eyes and asked, ‘Annie you don fuck Brymo?’” Brymo said.
The singer said the moment remained unforgettable to him while reflecting on his past experiences with women who were married but claimed to be separated from their partners.
“I’m wicked, you people don’t know me. I met quite a number of older women who were truly married but they would tell me they were separated from their husbands,” Brymo revealed.
The “Ara” hitmaker also used the opportunity to caution younger musicians against having relationships with married women, claiming such situations could have serious consequences.
“This goes to younger artistes, stop sleeping with people’s wives. They will cut your life short,” he added.

He further shared another experience where he claimed he discovered that a woman he was involved with was still married despite previously denying it.
Brymo recalled attending the woman’s younger sister’s wedding, where he was invited to perform.
He revealed that he later became uncomfortable after learning that the woman’s husband would be present at a family gathering where he was to give a private performance.
“One time I went to see one of my older female lovers and then she wanted me to come for the wedding of her younger sister, which I went to and I performed. And then at night, she also told me to come to their family house and perform again,” the artiste stated.
Brymo added that he was shocked by her admittance and he immediately decided to leave the venue.
“She said, ‘our Baba will be there’. I said, your dad? She was like no, my husband. I was shocked. I was like I thought you were divorced or something,” he recalled.
Neither 2Baba nor Annie Macaulay-Idibia has responded to Brymo’s allegations at the time of filing this report.
