LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Street entertainer Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, has come under intense criticism after a video surfaced online showing him making a threatening remark about the President’s son Seyi Tinubu, while discussing the 2027 presidential election.
The now-deleted clip reportedly recorded during a live session, showed the controversial entertainer commenting on the 2027 presidential election while dressed in traditional attire, including a white shawl and beaded necklaces.
During the video, DJ Chicken declared that President Bola Tinubu would not win re-election before making a threatening statement directed at the President’s son.
“Tinubu cannot win this election, if he wins, I will k**l Seyi Tinubu,” DJ Chicken said.

The video quickly spread across multiple social media platforms, triggering outrage from many Nigerians who described the remark as dangerous and unacceptable.
The entertainer later removed the video from his Instagram page, but copies had already been widely shared online, fueling further debate.
As of the time of filing this report, neither the Tinubu family, the Presidency nor security agencies had issued an official statement regarding the viral clip.
Known for his energetic Afrobeat mixes and frequent online controversies, DJ Chicken has also not publicly addressed the backlash or responded to speculation that his comments could attract legal consequences.
