LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy celebrated his 35th birthday with an intimate family gathering that left him visibly emotional, especially after his mother, Bose Ogulu, jokingly wished him a wife instead of another luxury car.
Videos from the celebration captured the Afrobeats star, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, lowering his head in emotion as his parents, siblings and loved ones surprised him with heartfelt birthday tributes.
One of the most memorable moments came when his mother and longtime manager, Bose Ogulu, shared her birthday wish before he blew out the candles on his cake.
Instead of asking for more success or expensive gifts, she jokingly urged her son to find a wife.

“Please don’t wish for a car o! What I want for you is a wife,” she teased, drawing laughter from those at the celebration.
