LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has reacted to the wave of concern sparked by a viral video showing him desolate in Abuja, telling Nigerians to stop worrying about him and instead focus their attention on holding the government accountable.
The actor addressed the situation after a man who claimed to have recently met him shared a fresh video online.
In the clip, Anuku appeared calm while responding to the attention generated by the earlier footage.
Dismissing suggestions that something was wrong with him, the veteran actor insisted that he was doing well and questioned why so much attention was being directed at his personal life.

“Y’all haven’t seen anything yet. Y’all should face your government and leave me the hell alone. If you don’t have a better thing to do go do something, I’m good,” he said.
The statement comes days after a video surfaced online showing the actor lying by the roadside in the Wuse 2 area of Abuja while talking to himself and holding a disposable cup.
The footage quickly triggered concern among fans, with many expressing fears about his mental health and calling on colleagues and industry stakeholders to check on his welfare.
The latest video, however, appears to be Anuku’s first direct response to the speculation, as he maintained that there was no cause for alarm.
