Lagos, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- FIDELITY Bank Plc has vested a total of 29,787,745 ordinary shares in 12 employees under its employee share ownership scheme, with Executive Directors Stanley Amuchie and Pamela Shodipo receiving the largest allocations.
The share vesting became effective on June 30, 2026, according to a regulatory filing submitted to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).
In the disclosure signed by Company Secretary Ezinwa Unuigboje, the bank said the shares were allotted under its employee share ownership programme.
Amuchie and Shodipo each received 12,727,272 ordinary shares, representing the largest allocations under the scheme.

Executive Director, North Directorate, Garba Ibrahim Sufiyanu, was allotted 4 million shares, while Nwalor Emmanuel Onyema received 333,201 shares.
Other beneficiaries included Ayerite Ebi Ngo (262,114 shares), Adejoh Grace (43,750), Maram Markus Magga (39,700), Igho Akpomeria (39,700), Ojonimi Joseph (39,773), Somoye Kabir Omoniyi (39,770), Dickson Patience Ladi (39,773) and Enangeto Uwem Essiet (39,773).
Employee share ownership schemes are commonly used by listed companies to align employees’ interests with those of shareholders, encourage long-term retention and reward performance.
The latest vesting comes as Fidelity Bank continues to report strong earnings growth.
The lender posted gross earnings of N434.95 billion in the first quarter of 2026, up 37.9 per cent from N315.42 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2025, reflecting continued expansion in its core banking business.
