LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Media personality Tunde Perry has revealed an unusual agreement he says exists in his marriage.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Perry disclosed that his wife permits him to spend one day every month with another woman to prevent him from taking another woman as wife.
He claimed his wife introduced the arrangement after they had spent about three years together and had grown to understand each other better.
The online personality explained that he chooses the date at the beginning of each month, informs his wife that he will be unavailable, and stays away from home without calls or communication until he returns.
“My wife no want make I marry another wife, so she dey give me one free day each month to see another girl. Me and my wife don dey married for like 3 years so we don Sabi ourselves,” he said in pidgin English.

Using July as an example, Perry disclosed that he was already deciding between two possible dates for his monthly outing.
“She give me one day to chill, so from the beginning I don choose 26 from the beginning of the month. Like July now I get two dates wey I dey try choose. Like that one day I go say I no dey around and I no go come house. Just that one day no call no nothing,” he added.
Speaking further, Perry claimed the arrangement has continued throughout their marriage, which he stated has now lasted 10 years.
He added that whenever he returns home after the agreed outing, his wife jokingly collects his phones and assigns him household chores.
The media personality also laughed off suggestions that he could develop emotional feelings for another woman, insisting he has no intention of jeopardizing the understanding he shares with his wife.
