LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and his wife, Cynthia, are preparing to welcome another addition to their family, with the excited mum-to-be sharing an emotional message about their journey to baby number three.
Seven years after welcoming their second daughter, Cynthia announced the pregnancy on Instagram, sharing elegant maternity photos dressed in black.
Alongside the pictures, she reflected on her experience, revealing that despite having gone through pregnancy before, this journey has been completely different.
According to her, experience does not necessarily make pregnancy easier because every child comes with a unique journey.
She expressed gratitude to God for seeing her through the months leading up to the announcement.
“Yup! 7 years later and we’re here again. That’s 10 years since my first rodeo… First of all, it’s so interesting how you think experience makes things easier or more familiar, but they never lied when they said every pregnancy is different. I’m just beyond grateful to God for being my guide through this journey, cos omo, what a journey it has been,” she wrote.
Cynthia also explained why the number three holds a special meaning for her.

Drawing inspiration from life, geometry and the Bible, she described three as a symbol of completeness, adding that she believes “the third time’s truly a charm.”
She further revealed that their daughters, Jewel and Rubi, have been eagerly looking forward to welcoming a new sibling.
At the same time, she praised her husband for standing by her throughout the pregnancy, joking that he probably thought his diaper-changing days were over.
“I’m beyond thankful for JEWEL and RUBI, who have been even more excited than me about a new sibling, and for le boo EBUKA, who’s been a proper solid rock. I know you thought you were done changing diapers, sha, (you are old) lol. Don’t worry, at least the Fab Five is now complete. Or is it?” she wrote.

Ending her heartfelt message, Cynthia thanked God for His faithfulness and said she is looking forward to a new chapter with their growing family.
“God has been so so faithful, and I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for His love—definitely looking forward to this new DAWN and the blessings that will follow,” she added.
The announcement has since attracted congratulatory messages from celebrities, friends and fans, many of whom wished the couple a safe pregnancy journey as they prepare to welcome their third child.
