LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood actor Jide Awobona has reacted humorously to the asoebi price list for the upcoming wedding of TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis, joking that he may have to start a new business just to afford the outfit.
The buzz comes days after Peller officially paid Jarvis bride price during a traditional introduction ceremony in her hometown of Benin City.
Sharing clips from the event, the TikTok star announced that their journey toward marriage had officially begun and expressed gratitude to both families for their blessings.
With preparations now in full swing, the couple have begun sending out wedding invitations to friends, colleagues and loved ones.

Among those invited is Nollywood actor Jide Awobona, who couldn’t resist reacting after seeing the asoebi package attached to the invitation.
Taking to Instagram, Awobona posted a screenshot of the message Peller sent him, which included the price list for the men’s asoebi fabric.
According to the invitation, four yards cost ₦350,000, eight yards cost ₦700,000, while 12 yards are priced at ₦1 million.
Reacting with humor, the actor joked that the prices had forced him to consider selling Akara and Kuli Kuli just to attend the wedding.
He also playfully pleaded with Peller to make a smaller quantity available.
“Seems I need to start Akara and Kuli Kuli business. How can I afford this now? Help me beg @peller089 to sell me 2 yards. I must not miss your wedding,” he said.
