LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Yoruba actress Ramota Adetu, popularly known as Aunty Ramota, has addressed long-running speculation about her relationship, revealing that she regards actor and content creator Ijoba Lande as her husband despite saying their traditional marriage rites have not been completed.
During a recent interview, the actress opened up about her personal life, answering questions about her relationship, marriage plans and the comments she has received over the years about her appearance.
When asked about the man in her life, Aunty Ramota identified Ijoba Lande as the person she considers her husband.
However, she explained that their traditional marriage has not been fully formalized because her bride price is yet to be paid.
“Ijoba Lande is my husband but he has not paid my dowry,” she said.

The conversation then shifted to her love life. Despite referring to Lande as her husband, Aunty Ramota said she is currently not interested in romance and asked admirers to be patient.
“I don’t like men. Those interested in me should wait, I am not ready yet,” Aunty Ramota stated.
The actress also addressed questions that have followed her throughout her career regarding her physical appearance.
Responding to the curiosity, she said she was born that way and never received any specific explanation from her parents.
“My parents didn’t tell me why I look like this. God created me this way,” she added.
Her remarks come after repeated online rumors linking her romantically with Ijoba Lande, a relationship that has remained a hot topic among fans.
