LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood actress Omeche Oko has shared details of a scary on-set accident that landed her in the hospital with a serious leg injury after she fell from a motorcycle during a film shoot.
The actress posted a video on Instagram showing the moment the scene went wrong, the confusion that followed, and parts of her treatment at the hospital.
In the clip, Oko was seen riding on the back of a motorcycle being driven by fellow actor Victory Michael for a movie scene when the accident happened.
Trouble started when the motorcycle lost control near stacked tyres and crashed into a pole.
The impact reportedly hit Michael’s arm against the pole, causing him to lose control of the bike and throwing Oko to the ground.
The actress was seen crying in pain while crew members and colleagues rushed to help her before she was taken away for urgent treatment.

Later scenes from the video showed Oko at the hospital receiving injections and treatment for the injuries she sustained in the crash. She is currently recovering with her leg in a cast.
Reflecting on the incident, the actress said the experience reminded her how risky acting can be, especially during physically demanding scenes.
“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said NO. If u see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is Thank You, God,” she wrote.
Her post quickly drew reactions from fans and colleagues, many of whom flooded her comment section with prayers and well wishes for a speedy recovery.
The incident also got fans talking about safety measures on Nollywood sets, especially during action scenes.
