LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- American rap superstar Nicki Minaj has shared the personal reason behind her decision to stop attending church regularly, revealing that her demanding career schedule made it difficult to maintain the routine she once had.
Speaking during a recent appearance on The Bryce Crawford podcast, the award-winning rapper spoke about her spiritual journey, explaining that her relationship with God remains strong.
The “Chun Li” hitmaker explained that her absence from church was not caused by a loss of faith or a change in beliefs.
She said that the realities of life as a performer gradually pulled her away from weekly worship services.

According to Minaj, her music career began taking up most of her weekends, leaving her physically exhausted by the time Sunday arrived.
“Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church,” she said.
Despite no longer attending church regularly, the rapper stressed that her connection with God has remained intact.
She maintained that faith continues to play an important role in her life, even though she sometimes struggles with consistency in her spiritual walk.
