ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, on Monday publicly expressed support for President Bola Tinubu during a high-profile political rally held in Ebonyi State.

Soludo made the remarks while addressing supporters in Abakaliki, describing his presence as a solidarity visit aimed at strengthening cooperation among what he called progressive political actors across Nigeria.

He stood alongside Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru, whom he described as a close ally, and emphasised the need for unity among political leaders working toward national development.

According to him, the event reflected growing collaboration among progressive forces and a shared commitment to governance beyond party divisions.

He also noted that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), his political party, would soon take a formal position on broader national political alignment aimed at strengthening cooperation.

Addressing Ndị Igbo, Soludo urged a shift away from grievance-driven politics, calling instead for a more pragmatic and strategic approach to political participation.

He said the time had come for what he described as a transition from “politics of lamentation” to “politics of progress,” stressing the need for unity and effective engagement in national affairs.

The rally ended with renewed commitments from participants to support President Tinubu’s administration and deepen political collaboration across party lines.
