LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Tottenham Hotspur are among the Premier League clubs monitoring Chelsea striker Liam Delap ahead of the summer transfer window, with reports suggesting the Blues value the forward at around £40 million.
Newcastle United and Everton are also believed to be keeping tabs on the England Under-21 international as speculation over his future continues.
Despite the growing interest, reports indicate that Delap’s preference is to remain at Stamford Bridge and compete for a regular place in the first team rather than seek a move elsewhere this summer.
The 23-year-old joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town in 2025 but endured a difficult first season, with injuries and competition for places limiting his impact.

Chelsea are nevertheless understood to retain confidence in the striker’s long-term potential, which is reflected in the club’s reported valuation.
Tottenham are expected to strengthen their attacking options before the start of the new campaign, while Newcastle and Everton are also in the market for a centre-forward.
However, no formal offer has been submitted by any of the interested clubs, and Chelsea have not indicated any willingness to sell the player.
With the transfer window gathering pace, Delap’s future is expected to remain under close scrutiny as Premier League clubs continue to assess their options ahead of the new season.
