LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has reopened discussions about their failed marriage, alleging that her relationship with actor Yul Edochie began while they were still together.
Speaking in a preview of an interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Obasi said he and Judy were married and had two children together before problems began to emerge in their home.
According to him, Judy frequently expressed admiration for Yul Edochie long before their relationship became public.
“I’m the former husband of Judy Austin, and we have two children together. Sometimes I ask myself, wetin man do man for this life?” Obasi said.
He alleged that whenever Yul appeared on television, Judy became unusually excited and openly praised the actor.
“Anytime we were watching Television and Yul Edochie appeared, Judy wouldn’t concentrate anymore. She’ll be telling me to my face that she loves this man. She will be praising him and saying she loves the way he acts in movies, and that his voice sounds like her uncle’s,” Obasi stated.

Obasi further claimed that Judy and Yul were romantically involved while he was still legally married to her.
“I have evidence that they were dating under my roof,” he alleged.
The claims have reignited a long-running controversy surrounding the trio.
However, Judy Austin has consistently denied accusations that her relationship with Yul began during her marriage to Obasi, maintaining that their union ended in 2013 and that she met the actor years later.
This is not the first time Obasi has publicly spoken about the issue. In previous interviews, he alleged that he married Judy at 19, supported her education, and later lost contact with their children after the relationship ended.
He has also repeatedly appealed for access to his children, claiming he has not seen them in over a decade.
