LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has joined the debate surrounding the leaked photos and videos believed to be those of Alex Ekubo’s wife, arguing that the relationship never needed to be hidden from the public in the first place.

The discussion gained momentum after images of the woman identified as Anulika Amakom Ekubo, surfaced online following Alex Ekubo’s service of songs.

Despite reports that the actor had deliberately kept his marriage and family life away from public attention, her videos and pictures flooded the timeline.

Reacting to the situation, Yul suggested that there was no reason for the relationship to have been kept private.

“He shouldn’t have hidden anything from anyone. It wasn’t necessary,” he tweeted.

Expanding on his position, the actor said many people spend too much time worrying about public opinion, even though criticism is unavoidable regardless of the choices they make.

According to him, individuals should focus on living freely rather than trying to satisfy everyone around them.

“People must learn to stop worrying about what people say. No matter what you do in life, people must talk. So leave them to talk. Leave blogs to blog,” he stated.

Adding a piece of advice, Yul said, “To be great in life, you must never make yourself small for anyone or any reason.”
