LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian music star Mr Eazi has shared the touching story of how he discovered he was about to become a father, revealing that hearing his unborn baby’s heartbeat for the first time left him overwhelmed and gave him a deeper appreciation for women and motherhood.
Speaking on the BTS podcast hosted by his wife, Temi, the “Life Is Eazi” crooner revealed that he first learned about the pregnancy during their honeymoon in Asia.
He admitted that he was initially uncertain because Temi showed very few of the typical signs associated with pregnancy, aside from feeling unusually tired more often.

However, his uncertainty disappeared during a visit to Dubai when the couple went for a medical scan.
Mr Eazi stated that hearing his baby’s heartbeat inside his wife for the first time changed his life and left him flushed with joy.
Reflecting on the experience, Mr Eazi said, “When I found out you were pregnant in Japan, I wasn’t completely sure at first because you weren’t showing many signs. You just seemed tired more often. But when we got to Dubai and went for the scan, the moment I saw the embryo and heard the heartbeat, I was happy.”
Beyond the excitement of becoming a father, the singer said witnessing Temi’s pregnancy also changed his perspective on women and motherhood.
Speaking directly to his wife, he added, “Temi, seeing you pregnant made me look at my mum differently and realize women are actually supernatural.”
The revelation comes weeks after Temi and Mr Eazi announced they were expecting their first child together.
The actress shared photos from a white-themed maternity shoot, accompanied by a heartfelt message about already knowing and loving her baby before birth.
Meanwhile, fresh photos flooded the timeline, which featured her mother, Nana Otedola, who joined the couple in celebrating the family’s newest addition.
One of the images showed Nana lovingly cradling her daughter’s baby bump, a moment that drew warm reactions from fans online.
Their pregnancy journey has continued to attract attention on social media, with many admirers celebrating the couple’s growing family and Mr Eazi’s heartfelt reflections on fatherhood.
