LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nollywood actor Stan Nze has voiced his disappointment after several phones were reportedly stolen during the service of songs organized in honour of late actor Alexx Ekubo in Lagos.
The solemn gathering, which brought together colleagues, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate Ekubo’s life, was overshadowed by allegations of theft after multiple attendees reportedly discovered their phones were missing.
Among those affected was actress BamBam, whose phone was said to have disappeared during the event.
A video circulating online showed the reality star and others attempting to track the device while repeatedly calling the number.

According to eyewitness accounts shared online, the phone continued to ring but was not answered, fueling speculation that it had been stolen.
Reacting to the incident, Stan Nze condemned the alleged theft, describing it as disturbing given the nature of the event.
“How can you come to a service of songs where people are mourning and grieving for the late Alexx Ekubo and you steal phones? More than five phones were missing yesterday. We are always complaining about the government, but if we chase everyone from the government, who will enter there? Still the citizens,” he said.
Meanwhile, a caption attached to one of the viral videos appealed directly to whoever took BamBam’s phone to return it.
“It’s how someone will dress from home only to come steal BamBam phone at an event like this. If you are the one, kindly return it else the anger of God will be upon you. Since you like events like this, it would soon become your reality except you return that phone. Amen,” the post read.
