LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Days after laying her husband, Michael Ndika, to rest, Nigerian singer Niniola has shared a reflective message about loyalty, family, and grief.

In a post shared on her Instagram Story, the singer reflected on family relationships and the realities that often emerge during moments of loss.

While she did not mention anyone by name, Niniola suggested that difficult experiences can reveal people’s true character.

“Sometimes it is better to have pure WATER run through your veins than BLOOD that is supposed to be thicker. Death lets you see people’s true form,” she wrote.

The post quickly attracted attention from fans, with many interpreting it as a reflection on her personal experiences following her husband’s passing.

Despite the emotional message, the singer also took time to appreciate those who supported her throughout the mourning period.

She expressed gratitude to her family, describing them as a strong source of comfort during the ordeal.

“Michael’s friends stayed with me and supported me all through the ordeal… May the good lord bless you continually… I am forever grateful,” she shared on her Instagram Story.

The singer also extended her appreciation to friends, colleagues and members of the entertainment industry who reached out, checked on her and offered encouragement during the grieving process.

Her latest post comes just days after an emotional farewell to Michael, with fans and well-wishers continuing to send messages of support as she navigates life after the loss of her husband.
