LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – FIFA has released important information for fans, teams, and officials ahead of upcoming arrivals for its scheduled tournaments and events.

The update outlines key guidelines on travel arrangements, accreditation procedures, security protocols, and entry requirements for participants and supporters.

According to FIFA, the aim is to ensure a smooth and well-organized experience for everyone involved, while maintaining safety, order, and compliance with host country regulations.

Here are some important things you should know:

The Atlanta Stadium is a cashless venue.

A valid government-issued ID is required for alcohol purchases.

Only individuals who are 21 years and above are permitted to purchase or consume alcohol.

International travelers are required to present a valid physical identification document, such as a passport; photocopies will not be accepted, as stated in the FIFA 2026 Code of Conduct.

A clear bag policy is strictly enforced (maximum size: 12” x 6” x 12”).

All FIFA stadiums operate a clear bag policy to ensure safe and efficient entry.

Ticket holders are only permitted to bring approved bags into the stadium.

These bags must be transparent and made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC material, allowing security personnel to easily inspect their contents without opening them.

The following items are strictly prohibited: weapons, explosives, detonators, tools, helmets, lighters, matches, smoke bombs, and spray cans.

FIFA also stated that stadium rules include a strict no re-entry policy.

Smoking and vaping are also prohibited inside all stadiums.

Spectators are advised to check the list of prohibited items before arriving, as anyone found with restricted items will be denied entry.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the full match-day experience.
