LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- A Federal High Court in Lagos has postponed its decision on the bail application filed by relationship therapist Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, who is facing allegations of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing.

Presiding over the case, Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi adjourned the matter until June 9, 2026, after hearing arguments relating to her request for bail.

The development was disclosed in a statement shared by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on its official X page on Friday.

Blessing CEO is currently facing a two-count charge brought against her by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the EFCC.

The charges border on allegations of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing involving a reported sum of N36 million.

During Friday’s proceedings, the court considered submissions from parties involved in the case before deciding to postpone its ruling on the bail application.

According to the anti-graft agency, the charges stem from allegations of financial misconduct amounting to N36 million.

Ultimately, legal proceedings remain ongoing, with the court expected to determine the bail application when the matter resumes on June 9.
