LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- British-Nigerian rap star Dave has thrilled fans with the announcement of his first headline shows in Lagos, bringing his latest album tour to Nigeria for a historic homecoming performance.

The award-winning rapper shared the exciting news with fans through his social media platforms, unveiling plans for two major performances in Nigeria’s commercial capital.

The “Raindance” hitmaker revealed that the concerts will take place on October 16 and 17, 2026, at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre.

The Lagos performances will kick off the African leg of his ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp’ tour, which supports his third studio album.

The announcement marks a significant milestone in Dave’s career.

Despite building a strong following among Nigerian music lovers over the years, the rapper has never headlined a concert in the country.

The upcoming shows will therefore offer local fans a rare opportunity to experience his music live on home soil.

Meanwhile, anticipation is already building among fans eager to see the rapper perform some of his biggest hits on stage.

Known for his powerful storytelling, chart-topping records, and critically acclaimed albums, Dave remains one of the most influential voices in British rap.
