ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-The Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has rated President Bola Tinubu’s administration at 100 per cent, describing him as the “founder of the new Nigeria” and crediting him with steering the country away from collapse.
The endorsement came during a high-profile Sallah visit by state governors, led by Vice President Kashim Shettima, to the President at his private residence in Lagos.
A video from the visit, shared by The Cable on Saturday, captured Uzodimma commending Tinubu’s “innovative approach” to governance and insisting that the reforms of the past three years have strengthened national stability.
He said, “You have virtually recovered Nigeria from the road of collapse to that of stability and survival. We, your field officers at the subnational level, are indeed very very grateful.

“We have assessed your performance, and Mr President, I’m happy to announce that we have scored your performance 100%,” Uzodimma declared.
He further praised the President’s leadership style, describing it as visionary and intervention-driven.
“We thank you for the genius you are, the fatherly role you have played, your interventions in times of our needs, and your vision for the country moving forward,” he added.
Reaffirming the loyalty of the governors, Uzodimma said they were ready to promote and defend the administration’s policies across the country.
“We want to inform you Mr. President that we are proud to be your ambassadors at the subnational level and we are here to defend your policies, to preach your message, and to let Nigerians know that we have come out from darkness and then the right light is now ready to shine. You brought us hope, and we believe in you.”
Meanwhile, Defence Minister Christopher Musa, in a separate assessment, rated the Tinubu administration’s security performance between 65 and 70 per cent.
He said terrorism had been significantly reduced to isolated kidnapping incidents, although recent school abductions across several states remain a major security concern.
