LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Fans of Nigerian social media personalities were drawn into another round of online drama after crossdresser James Brown claimed that fellow internet celebrity Bobrisky is not living in the United Kingdom as widely believed.
For months, many fans believed Bobrisky had relocated to the United Kingdom after he repeatedly shared posts suggesting he was living there.
The social media personality had also previously stated that he was not ready to return to Nigeria, further fueling speculation about his new life abroad.
However, James Brown has now challenged that narrative with a new claim.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, James Brown alleged that he discovered Bobrisky was not residing in the UK as many followers assumed.
While not naming his source, he disclosed that the influencer is actually living in Moldova, a country in Eastern Europe.
James Brown admitted that he had to research Moldova himself after making the discovery.
While sharing the claim, he appeared to poke fun at Bobrisky’s long-standing dream of settling in the United Kingdom.
He also suggested that everyone has different ways of surviving and rebranding themselves, adding that life is not always balanced.

I had to quickly go and check the country because ah ah fo This life sha… everybody just dey survive and rebrand differently. From London dreams to Moldova reality. Life no balance sometimes,” he wrote.
Expectedly, the post sparked widespread reactions across social media, with many fans questioning James Brown’s decision to make the issue public at a time when Nigerians are increasingly demanding action over the country’s worsening insecurity and rising cases of kidnapping.
One user, @juliejomah, defended Moldova, writing, “But Moldova 🇲🇩 is a beautiful and high-standard country. So what are you talking bout?”
Another commenter, @ubeyoriobhe_eve, appeared unimpressed by the post, saying, “You no go rest abi You wan use am trend as ur career don die.”
Some followers shifted attention away from celebrity drama altogether, arguing that more pressing national issues deserved public attention.
“Did you watch the recent video of the abducted teachers and children? If no, try watching it,” @ _ibironke22 stated.
Similarly, @lavish_tobbie wrote, “So you are not aware of all the kidnappings going on? It really should be some of you celebrities in the bush instead of our teachers and children.”
