LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- British-Nigerian rapper Skepta has appealed to celebrities and the international community to speak up about the growing injustice in Nigeria, saying citizens are suffering despite their resilience.
The award-winning rapper voiced concern over what he described as worsening injustice in Nigeria, urging global figures to help amplify the struggles facing citizens.
Speaking in a video message, the “Bad Energy Stay Far Away” crooner said Nigerians have endured hardship and unfair treatment for a long time despite constantly showing strength and resilience.

Skepta revealed that he intends to continue using his platform to speak against injustice whenever possible, whether through music, visuals, or public appearances.
“There is so much injustice in Nigeria. And whenever I can whether it is at my shows, verbally or images, whatever I can do, we are going to speak up for injustice at all time,” he said.
Furthermore, Skepta appealed to fellow celebrities and the international community to support Nigerians by drawing more global attention to the situation in the country.

“Nigerians need help. We need people to speak up for us as well. We need to protect Nigerians. There is so much injustice in Nigeria,” the rapper stated.
The rapper also stressed that many people outside the country may not fully understand the reality Nigerians face daily because citizens often appear strong in difficult situations.
“This is my message to the people; please, I know that we [Nigerians] are resilient and we make everything look good, but we need help, too. Please, help us,” Skepta appealed.
