LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor, known widely as Mama G, has become one of the standout faces in Nike’s latest Super Eagles-inspired fashion campaign created in collaboration with Nigerian designer Olaolu Slawn.
The new campaign, which mixes football culture with bold streetwear designs, also features Super Eagles stars Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, alongside former captain Jay-Jay Okocha.
Nike unveiled the “Slawn x Super Eagles” collection through a series of campaign images shot against graffiti-inspired backdrops.
The collection is part of the brand’s “26 Collab Kits” project linked to the 2026 FIFA World Cup build-up.

Mama G appeared in stylish green-and-white outfits from the collection, bringing her trademark confidence and personality to the campaign.
The sportswear line features feather-patterned tracksuits, gradient jackets, jerseys and customized sneakers designed around Nigeria’s football identity and street culture.
Musicians DEELA and Kida Kudz also appeared in the campaign visuals.
Announcing the collection and release date on Instagram, Nike wrote, “GO SLAWN OR GO HOME. NIKE ’26 COLLAB KITS. EARLY ACCESS AVAILABLE AT @OLAOLUSLAWN. COMING TO SNKRS AND SELECT RETAILERS THIS SUMMER.”
Although Nigeria did not qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the campaign has still generated excitement among football and fashion lovers, with many describing it as a bold celebration of Nigerian creativity, music, sports and pop culture.
