LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Popular Nollywood star Timini Egbuson is trending on social media after revealing how he would subtly get close to and eventually win over a woman who is already in a relationship.
Speaking during a recent podcast appearance, the 38-year-old actor explained that many men no longer make direct romantic moves to the women they fancy.
Instead, they focus on building friendship, trust and emotional closeness over time.

Using himself as an example, the actor explained that he would present himself as supportive, understanding and constantly available to a woman he likes without openly flirting, especially because she is already in a committed relationship with another man.
According to him, a man who prevents his partner from having a cordial relationship with a male friend could come across as insecure and controlling.
“Again, if I’m moving to your babe, I’m not going to pretend I like her. I’m just going to be talking to her, and you can’t honestly say anything, because you’re going to sound like a douchebag if you are stopping her from talking to me,” he said.

Timini further explained that the strategy is designed to avoid suspicion while slowly creating emotional dependence.
“That’s the way guys move to babes now. So he’s not going to be saying, oh, let me see your underwear. He’s going to be friendly, break his way in,” he revealed.
Timini added, “If you complain about another person being there, it’s going to make you seem weird, and if you fight me for being friends with your girlfriend, you’re going to look mad or crazy.”
