LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has revealed how she financed her BBL surgery, explaining that she paid for the cosmetic procedure in installments after facing criticism and online reactions over her prize money spendings.
Following a recent video in which she tearfully expressed regret over spending her N100 million prize money on family, the reality star has now addressed claims that she used her money for surgery, explaining how she financed the procedure.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Phyna said some people became uncomfortable after her transformation because they no longer had reasons to mock her online.
“Since I do my nyash and belle body just dey pain them because them no see wetin to use insult me again,” she said.
She also dismissed rumours that she spent all her money at once on the surgery, revealing that the payments were made gradually over several months.
According to Phyna, she began paying for the procedure in February 2025 through instalments before completing the payment in August.

“My nyash, na installmental payment I do. I no know why people dey vex for me. I don dey pay for this nyash since 2025 February,” Phyna explained.
The reality star further disclosed that the surgery was initially planned for September before later being postponed.
“You go first dey pay small small den you go come go do am. Na for first week of August I pay finish. Na September I suppose go do am before wetin sup sup. Dem come say October, but I was not in the mood then,” the reality star added.
