LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-  Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has reignited her public clash with social media activist VeryDarkMan after accusing him of allegedly making advances towards her before their relationship turned sour during the controversy surrounding her late sister’s case.

The reality star made the claims during a livestream that has since gone viral across social media platforms.

According to Phyna, she was shocked by the activist’s behavior after she allegedly rejected his request for intimacy, claiming things changed between them shortly after.

“Maybe because he said he wanted to sleep with me and I didn’t accept, that was why he started holding grudges against me,” she alleged, sharing screenshots of their chats.

Phyna also accused VeryDarkMan of spreading false narratives about her during the difficult period following the tragic death of her younger sister, Ruth Otabor.

The former BBNaija winner claimed the activist publicly accused her of demanding ₦1 billion from the Dangote Group, an allegation she insists never happened.

“When I came online and started seeing that he said I requested for ₦1 billion during my late sister’s case, I was shocked because the conversation never happened,” Phyna noted.

Expressing frustration over the situation, Phyna revealed she still feels betrayed by someone she once respected deeply.

“He is someone I held in high esteem, and he switched up on me,” she added.

The reality star further revealed to release more screenshots and chat evidence to back up her accusations.

The controversy traces back to the tragic death of her younger sister in 2025 after a road accident caused by a truck belonging to Dangote Group near Auchi Polytechnic.

The incident attracted public sympathy at the time, with reports indicating that the Dangote Group assisted with medical expenses and compensation efforts.

However, the situation later sparked online drama after VeryDarkMan allegedly criticized Phyna publicly and accused her of making excessive financial demands.

VeryDarkMan has reportedly denied the accusations against him, dismissing the claims as baseless.
