In his words, “Our constituency does not suffer from a lack of potential; it suffers from a lack of structured, globally competitive representation. My career has been defined by creating wealth, building platforms, and placing Nigerian talent on the world map. I am stepping into this race to deploy that exact same global network, corporate discipline, and innovative leadership to bring sustainable development, youth empowerment, and infrastructure to Akpabuyo, Bakassi, and Calabar South.”
The filmmaker maintained that his political agenda would focus heavily on youth empowerment, investment opportunities, technology-driven growth and transparent constituency projects.
According to him, the federal constituency has huge untapped potential in tourism, culture and coastal business opportunities that can attract foreign investment and create jobs for young people.
Duker is widely known as one of the pioneers of Nollywood and has spent more than three decades promoting African film and culture globally.
