Lagos Lawmaker Hails Tinubu After APC Presidential Ticket Victory For 2027

LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)– Spokesperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Stephen Ogundipe, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on securing the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The honorable member, a representative of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I hailed President Tinubu’s decisive victory on Sunday while speaking with reporters from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

Tinubu emerged as the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 election at the APC presidential primaries held nationwide on Saturday.

“I heartily congratulate our indefatigable leader, President Bola Tinubu, on his well-deserved re-emergence and affirmation as the flag bearer of our great party for the 2027 general election,” he said.

Describing the outcome as well deserved, Ogundipe praised the his leadership style and policy direction.

He further commended Tinubu’s administration, linking it to ongoing reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said is aimed at economic recovery, institutional strengthening, and national development.

“Your courageous leadership, visionary governance and unwavering commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda continue to reposition Nigeria on the path of sustainable growth, economic recovery, institutional reforms and national development,” Ogundipe stated.

The lawmaker added that early policy decisions taken under the current administration are already producing visible outcomes and laying foundations for long-term progress.

Ogundipe also noted that the president’s leadership journey continues to serve as a model for younger politicians within the ruling party.

The lawmaker who recently won the APC ticket for Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, said the president’s political mentorship has played a role in shaping his own career in public service.

He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work closely with the president, describing it as a key factor in his political development.

Looking ahead, Ogundipe prayed for continued strength and good health for Tinubu as he prepares for the 2027 election cycle.

The lawmaker maintained that he remains confident that the president’s leadership will strengthen the party’s chances in the next general elections.
